The Slide Machine
Speak freely — the slides will follow.
The Slide Machine builds your lecture slides live, from what you
actually say, while you say it. Start a lecture and talk: your speech
is transcribed and our AI agent turns your spoken words into
well-formatted slides in real-time, with images we source added at
appropriate places as you speak. You can seed a lecture with your own
outline, readings, decks or images; draw on any slide mid-lecture;
generate an exit-ticket quiz from the finished deck; read and hear the
lecture in another language; and edit or export the deck afterwards to
PDF, YAML or Google Slides.
What we ask for, and why
-
Your account. An email address, a display name, and
a password we store only as a hash — so we can identify you and keep
your work yours.
-
Google sign-in. If you choose to sign in with
Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from
Google. We use them to create and identify your account, and for
nothing else.
-
Connecting Google Drive. Exporting a deck to Google
Slides or publishing a quiz as a Google Form is optional, and asks
for one narrow permission:
drive.file. It reaches only
the files the app itself creates and the files you hand it by
picking them in Google's own file picker. It cannot list, search or
read the rest of your Drive.
-
Your microphone. While a lecture is recording,
audio is transcribed into text so the slides can be built. We may
also keep the recording itself; how long depends on your plan and on
what still has to be done with it.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to train third-party AI
models.
